Presale ends on July 31st!! Also Shop Rebuild and Base Graphics.
Our 2010-2011 Presale will end on July 31st. That is the last day you can purchase skis with the $150 discount for this season. If you have any questions about any of our 2010-2011 skis, shoot Rowen or me an email or give the factory a call.
Our shop rebuild is almost done and we should be pressing skis soon. We completely deconstructed the entire shop, reworked our whole space to provide better flow and storage, and brought in a few new machines to help with efficiency. A few more days of tweaking here and there and we should start to get into ski production.
Photos always show things best…

Empty shop during our first shop build last year.

Shop at the end of production last year.

Starting the break everything down and reposition the shop.

Starting to work on our new "hot bench" - last year our hotbox seemed like a huge waste of space. So this year we decided to put two different hot boxes built underneath two of our finishing stations.

Two sides almost done.

"Hot bench" looking good.

Finishing breaking down the back and repositioning the ski presses.

Framing up our sidewall bench/storage rack.

Starting to attach shelves.

Starting to frame our core & mold rack. We had a huge shortage of storage last year, so needed to make sure we didn't run into storage issues again.

Welding up some new storage racks.

Mold racking finished. Now onto the core racks.

Painting some of our new storage racks. Sticking with the Swedish theme.

Start of the new dust collection line. We took everything down and redesigned the line. Luckily we had far few drops this year than last, so the system was a bit easier to put together.

Even with good dust collection, cutting out skis can be a pretty nasty process. To help keep the rest of the shop free of fiberglass/epoxy dust, we closed off a space for the band saw/jig saw stations.

Another issue we had last year was little curly-q's of base material. They get everywhere. This year we built the base/edge stations their own room to help contain them.

We added some windows so the space was a bit more friendly to work in.

Finished space with two new edging stations.

Finishesd (albeit messy) Core and Mold Rack.

We added two new wet grinders - one for tips and another for bases.

Space starting to come together.

A couple people have asked about the Vicik's tip rocker and tails...so here you go.

Very minor twin.

One of the simple things we changed this year was pulling the presses a few inches off the walls. I cannot tell you how much easier they are to work on.

Adding a floor drop and dust collection for the band saw.

New topsheet and base storage rack. And yes, it is tall.

Storage rack/sidewall bench. Space to store tons of materials and attach sidewalls and tipspacers before layup.

Two new base/edging stations.

Bamboo waiting to go to the CNC.

New cassette rack.

Base/side edge and tip shaping station.

New layup bench.

Room of death - as I've now named the flash trimming room.

2 of the 4 finishing stations and hot bench.

Planer and Router drops.

Looking down from above.
A few more things to finish up and clean up, and we should be ready to go.
Lastly, base graphics. We apologize for how long these took to finalize; it was a long process to get something we really liked.

Blue Steele Base.

Vicik Base.

Caylor Base.

Cease & Desist Base.

Jeronimo Base.

Wrenegade Base.
Lastly, the Billy Goat. Due to the overwhelming amount of positive feedback we got on this base last year, we decided to bring the it back for a second year. To mesh better with the new BG topsheet, we darkened the blue background.

Billy Goat Base.
Thanks!
